SEEYA!
SEEYA! (SouthEast Episcopal Young Adults!) is a COMMUNITY of young adults dedicated to exploring life together. We are single, married, married with children and partnered. We are young, professionals, undergraduate students, graduate students, unemployed or underemployed. We are serious about faith and seriously fun. We are 21 to 40. We are seeking a faith home, questioning faith and what it means and seeking others to explore faith and fun. Above all, we are committed to building a stronger faith community for young adults in South Florida!
Each month, SEEYA! brings young adults together for a variety of events - planned and spontaneous. Join us for events like:
· Theological Brew - Hosted on the third Friday of every month, SEEYA! meets at a community location like pubs, restaurants, churches and parks to enjoy fun and fellowship together. The location changes every month to learn more about what is available in our community and to engage new people throughout Broward County! Follow us on Twitter @TheologicalBrew to get updates on the next location and how to RSVP for the event!
· Reel-2-Real - A film series with discussion group, Reel-2-Real features a film each quarter and hosts a theological discussion about the film. Past films have included "To Kill A Mockingbird" and "God Grew Tired of Us." Schedules for the next film showing will be posted to Twitter @TheologicalBrew, to the All Saints webpage, and to the All Saints Facebook page.
As SEEYA! grows and matures, we will also sponsor other programs like Outreach volunteer events and Sunday Fun Day (things like paddle boarding, etc)!
For more information about SEEYA!, please send an email to Hunter Ruffin at Theological Brew We hope to SEEYA! soon!
We will be participating in a Pint and Paddle event. Don't have a SUP board - no worries they are available to rent for $20. Can't afford it? Just let me know; we can help out. Event is February 17 from 7p.m. -9 p.m. We will launch from Colahatchee Park in Wilton Manors, 1975 NE 15 Ave. We will then paddle about a mile up river to Chowder Head Restaurant and Bar on the water, tie up the boards, have some food and drinks and paddle back. If you are up for it then please RSVP so we know how many boards to have available for folks. Should be a fun night!! Be there or be square!
