PARISH WORK DAY - Saturday, March 23 at 9 am
What: a Parish Work Day is where we all wear old clothes, put on sun screen, wear funny hats, and break into three main areas of work including painting, landscaping and sprucing up inside the church.
Why: to spruce up our grounds and church for springtime, especially Holy Week and Easter. Many hands make light work. People today underestimate the spiritual value of “rolling up your sleeves and doing a hard day’s manual labor”. Well, here’s your chance! Please come out and help.
When: Saturday, March 23, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, we will conduct our PARISH WORK DAY. Water and Gatorade along with light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Lunch: Noontime we’ll order some pizza and drinks.
Make this part of your Lenten spiritual
reawakening to help beautify our
spiritual home.

The Legacy Society of All Saints, formed to recognize parishioners that have included the Endowment or Church as a beneficiary in their estate plan, will resume their seminar series with a special event in coming weeks. The integrity of the “UTO LEGACY” has been maintained for over 100 years. The United Thank Offering (UTO) is a strong and firm mission arm of the Episcopal Church.
The Blue Box / Envelope gives the opportunity for all members of our Church Family to give thanks for their blessings everyday. All monies collected from All Saints UTO Project are joined with those from other Episcopal Churches. Each donation is important; each prayer is remembered. The LEGACY continues! Are you using your United Thank Offering (UTO) “Blue Box” / Envelope to count your blessings? God has given us the gift of 86,000 seconds everyday. Have you used one to say “Thank you”

PARISH DIRECTORY & INFORMATION UPDATE
We are collecting pictures and updated information in order to print a new parish directory. This version will include pictures of individuals or families so that we can all better recognize and get to know each other.
After each Sunday service between now and Easter, there will be people taking photographs in the Neaverson Chapel. We need a head shot of each member or associate and their children. Family group shots may also be taken. If you already have a picture that you would like us to use, please email it to

.
We ask that all members and associates find time on one of these Sundays to have your picture taken. Remember Sherod’s “threat” about us using pictures of our choice for those that don’t have a picture on file!
Also, we will be handing out reports that show you the information we currently have about you in our database. We ask that you take the sheets home and update with any changes or additions. There is one sheet per person. There are also blank forms available if you have additional family members to add. Only names and contact information will be included in the directory and inclusion in the directory is optional. All information is optional, but the more you provide the better we can support you. Please bring the updated forms the following week and place in the box located in the Narthex, or put them in the collection plate. If you prefer, mail them to the office or scan them in and email to Michael at

All Saints Episcopal Church enjoys a heritage of excellence in sacred music and the arts. This heritage includes a designated fund, Great Music in Worship, started in the 1980s. This fund was used to support areas of music that cannot be sustained through the normal operating budget. We continue this distinguished funding tradition with Friends of Music. Gifts will go toward:
• Student intern program (providing stipends to excellent high school musicians)
• Additions and improvements to our pipe organs: Rebuild chancel console; Gallery Trumpett en Chamade
• Stipends for professional musicians
• Promotion of the RiverSounds Concert Series
Envelopes to make your gift have been mailed to parish households or are available in the pew racks.
Gifts are particularly appreciated from those throughout the South Florida community who support the tradition of sacred music but are not All Saints members. Encourage your friends who love our music to make a generous contribution to assure that All Saints remains a leader in Sacred Music!
Liturgical Choir begins Sunday September 9. Rehearsals are 9:30 each Sunday through the month of September. Beginning October 7, rehearsals will start at 9:15 a.m. in the newly renovated choir room. New Singing Saints welcome! Chat with Daniel Copher or other choir members for details.
I am asking every household to take on a new spiritual discipline:
These food offerings will be transported to the Centro’s Food Pantry housed at Saint Ambrose.
Not sure what to do with all those old laptops, cell phones, ipods, video game consoles, and printer cartridges? Want a simple way to be a good steward of this planet while at the same time help raise money for your church programs? Our youth is partnering with an organization to help us do just that. We are collecting your trash and turning it into money for our youth and family ministry programs. When people think about recycling, they usually think of paper, glass and cans. However, e-waste — which includes printer cartridges for inkjet, laser, fax, copier and multi-functional peripherals (MFPs or all-in-ones), cell phones, laptops, GPS devices, ipods and MP3 players, digital cameras, game systems, video games and DVDs — is having a larger and larger negative impact on our planet. Improper disposal of e-waste harms our environment by damaging air, soil and water, and takes up ever-increasing space in our landfills. Now you can do something about it!!
