SUNDAY MORNING PROGRAMS
Nursery: There is currently an active reconfiguring of space following the construction of our new buildings and no nursery facility is available at this point in time.

WEEKDAY PROGRAM
Children ages 3-9 are invited to participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. For the 2007-2008 school year, Thursday afternoon Catechesis sessions are offered in the Education Building. The date/day and time for the 2008-2009 schedule is yet to be determined. For more information about the Catechesis, contact Crellin Byrd.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES
Announcements of youth activities are sent out in weekly e-mail blasts or listed in the monthly newsletter from the Broward Deanery Youth Director. Most of these announcements are of events that occur locally through various churches in the deanery of Broward County. Likewise, special events specific to All Saints are announced as they are planned.

Diocese of Southeast Florida Youth Convention
The annual diocesan Youth Convention will be held at St. Benedict’s, Plantation, on August 8-9, 2008. The cost is $32. The theme for this year’s Youth Convention is “Empowering Episcopal Youth to Lead – NOW”. The convention will offer a number of hands on workshops to provide participants with new skills to enhance their ministries in their congregations and the diocese. The workshops include peer ministry, Gospel Graffiti Art, liturgical dance, small group leadership, drama in church, and technology for worship.

The Convention will begin with registration on August 8, at 7 p.m. Food will be provided, however; it is suggested that those attending have dinner before arriving at St. Benedict’s. The Convention will end on Saturday, August 9, at 6 p.m. Please bring sleeping bags or air mattresses and pillows. Participants will be sleeping on the floor.

All cell phones will be collected at registration and returned after the service on Saturday. In the case of an emergency, a cell phone will be provided.

Each parish is encouraged to participate by sending two high school students and two eighth grade students and one observer. There must be one adult chaperone per every five youth from one parish.

At the conference the youth will elect the cabinet members (officers) of the Youth Commission (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Administrative Assistant). There will also be time for everyone to exchange ideas and plan future events.

Those who are interested in becoming cabinet members of the Youth Commission should send name, email address, phone number and the position for which they wish to be nominated Mary Cobiella at: mary@diosef.org.

Also, if you have any questions regarding Youth Convention, you can contact Mary Cobiella by email or by phone at 800-268-9993, or 305-373-0881, ext.29.
